God of War III - Image 1It's gonna be one crazy, hectic schedule for Kratos this week as SCEA brings him to the Comic Con in San Diego this week. It's never easy being popular, so it sure is some God-sent luck for you to have this opportunity to spend some time with him.

Kratos' official itinerary includes daily displays of God of War III in the Sony booth at any day of the show. Yes, the demo that you missed at last year's E3 is back, and this is your second chance. Don't miss it this time around.

There will also be a Comic Book signing and giveaway for the God of War Comic announced last week. This comic book, in case you missed that news, comes to fruition in partnership with DC Comics. Now will also be a good time to grab one of the Limited Edition double sided posters of the GoW comic signed by no other than the writer Marv Wolfman and Cover Artist Andy Park.

Check out the schedule for the autograph signing below:
  • Thurs. July 23rd 1-2:30pm *Marv Wolfman ONLY*
  • Friday July 24th 2:30-4pm
  • Saturday July 25th 1-2:30pm
The Comic Book isn't the only "accessory" going on with God of War III. SCEA has also announced today that they went into a cool collaboration with United Cutlery to come up with this badass replica of the Blades of Chaos!

Blade of Chaos - Image 1

Yes, there is no mistaking it. That is definitely Kratos' Blade of Chaos (or at least a copy of it), sturdy and long at 20 13/16" overall, designed with a 12 7/16" blade made of solid-cast zinc aluminum with a custom-etched mold texture, and unique fantasy grindings that mirror the piece used in the game. Whew.

As for the grip, it is said to be injection-molded and is surrounded by an intricately designed cast-metal guard and pommel.

The Blade of Chaos replica is now available for pre-order via the merchandise section of the official God of War website. For more details on the collectible replica, just click on this link right here.
