DIY Motion sensor for the PSP? |
Ó
It could be a homemade motion adaptor for the PSP, or, most likely an early development version of the motion sensor accessory that was being developed for Mercury before it's release. What a great attachment this would make for the PS3 - Who needs Dual shock 3 when you've got a PSP to use?

@people saying its fake:
Wow, you guys really have nothing to do. I see "its fake" "definitly fake" "omgzorz its fake" ok, now, are you guys skilled with electronics ? Oh wait, it comes from people who thought it was into the USB port, right ? Ok, I'll believe it's fake whenever you guys can bring me prooves... not just "but look at the video" no no... I want to see facts like "It cannot be real because..." and then give me actual words, reasons why logically it cannot be done (like why on the actual circuit board it wouldnt work), and such reasons. Until then you will only speaking bull***** and only and simply prooving that you have no life because you think "wow, saying fake is cool".
Anyhow, this motion sensor is definitly something I would get, there is many possibilities for homebrew that it might bring as well as actual games if Sony would develop one, but it'd be even more interesting to see one cool homemade device like this.

It's not connected through the USB port, retard! Did you notice the cables going through the analog stick hole???

i remember when nintendo was going to use the tilt'n'tumble game concept with the gamecube...
in a kirby game, and nintendo scrapped it.
so i'm sure sony will make it work.

I think this could be for REAL!!! Also, a fact I've been wondering about, is the analogue sticks interface with the rest of the PSP's circuit boards? Any of you that have bravely removed their faceplates would have clearly seen it. How do you wire to that? If you did follow the leads, I think you should really put a how-to out there for other aspiring HBrewers/tinkerers.
Cheers if it's totally real, 'cause I think it just might be. How about some PRON of the PSP, with the faceplate removed?

connect the wires from that analog stick to the pins of ur psp's analog stick so it uses the new analog stick...ez
its real without a doubt because any idiot that can connect a few wires (not saying the guy is an idiot) can do this...

And this is probably not done by Sony, because if Sony made somthing like this they would tell us about it, and it would be much smaller.
Then again that is what I think!?

It'd be great if they did finally do such an attachment, I know LocoRoco is screaming out for it :)

There's a moment when you're tilting it where you wont be able to see the screen because of the reflection or you moved it too much. You're actually moving the display and thats tends to be awkward.
Maybe thats why Mercury didnt shipped with that funcionality.

i dunno?

I would use the parts from GBA game Yoshi Topsy-Turvy that has that tilt hardware.
If I can get it for cheap I will try it. :)

Anyway, as convincing as it looks, it has to be a video being played with a bunch of crap stuck onto the top. Why? Look how unresponsive it is to a couple of his motions in the 2nd half.
