Medis Technologies Ltd. has demonstrated their discardable fuel cell battery "Power Pack" prototype in the "CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment" exhibition.

This new prototype has shrunk the size to 80% of the last model. The company even charged a PSP with the Power Pack on the exhibition. The final model is slated for the summer of 2006.

Hey you ****ing morons, do you know what fuel-cell batteries are?

Yes they're "discardabe" but they're way better then normal batteries. Normal batteries have a lot of heavy metals such as zinc, cadnium, and not to metion strong acids..

Fuel cell uses Methanol It burns up basically clean, and the cartrage is just methonal, so there's really not pollution other then the cartriage...

boy you ****heads are moronic... oh yea, Fuel cells also last longer then AA's.....

By the way, YES Global warming does make the world colder in some areas and warmer in the other.... So all you little 12-15 yr old ****s out there who think you're all smart and grown up... please go back to your mommmy and talk to her, becuase we don't like little ****s like you

gaming, and being online anywhere is cool, but when the battery runs out on you while youre out and about, maybe thats not such a BAD thing.

Well, it can also be a BAD thing. I fly many time a years, at 6-10 hours a time. Let me tell you that any good option to keep my PSP alive is more than welcome. Because I'm not sure what kind of "life" I can get squeezed in coach section.

It's like that naked gun movie where O.J starts off with a handgun and after he's put on all the gun "accessories" he's sitting on this big ass mounted tank. =P

That's just what we need is more discardable stuff. Nothing like adding adding to the landfills, causing more pollution.

Yeah, I thought fuel cells were supposed to be at least somewhat environmentally friendly.

Sounds like this years PSP must have accessory. I can imagine many circumstances where you will REALLY NEED to recharge it where there is no power inputs. Like for example when on safari in Africa or visiting Ayers rock in Australia. Then you can simply discard it like Cigarette but !!!

i hate when people use Maddox's qoutes...seeing as they don't know 99% of what maddox says is just sarcasm...especially when some idiotic 12 year old who doesn't give a **** what happens around him as long as he is fed, has a roof over his head, and leeches on his parents.

These discarable batteries are a bad idea...seeing as they are 10x the size of 4 AA batteries...

what mornons think its ok to just dump these into a pile next to their house?

I don't give a damn about pollution I love global warming cause I hate the winter screw the cold. Anyway as long as the earth is around until I die I don't care what happens to it after that cause I won't be around to worry.

You're 28 huh? Just makes your stupidity even more glaring.

By the way, you are aware it's a serious criminal offense to dump oil into a sewer, right? I'm talking over a decade of prison years. Aren't you the intelligent antagonist.

I suprised none of of you that their is no battery image in the corner. The psp is fake but the fuel cell is not.

While I'm typing this my PSP's power led is green, it's connected to a working PSP charger, and the charger is connected to a working outlet.

I go to Battery Information and it says:

Charge Level 100%
Hours Left -
Power Source External
Battery Status Charge Complete

So, it's safe to assume that a working hcarger can be connected to a PSP and the led be green, assuming that the PSP is fully charged.

K?
