The Gold Dragon faceplate...beautiful - Image 1From the looks of it, plenty of the PSP owners around here have been enjoying Camy Pro Gear's line of dual injection faceplates - noted for their high quality and durability even compared to Sony's original sets.

And you can get your own personal faceplate design made, like that wicked dragon pattern to the right.

Camy Pro Gear announced the start of their PSP Faceplate design contest, which gives PSP aficionados a chance to have their winning design featured on Camy Pro Gear's future line up of faceplates. As for the contest mechanics:
  • All competitors are welcome to join.
  • Only one design entry is allowed per person - make it your best.
  • Only original images are allowed - entering edited/chopped up versions of other people's works is forbidden.
  • Winners receive no royalties from sales of winning designs.
  • All entries must be designed on the template provided at AcidMods.
  • Entries will be judged by members of Camy Pro Gear.
As for the prices:
  • 1st Place:  4 Camy Pro Gear faceplates sporting the winning design.
  • 2nd place: 2 Camy Pro Gear faceplates sporting the winning design.
  • 3rd and 4th Place: 1 Camy Pro Gear faceplates sporting the winning design.
To those joining this competition, we wish them the best of luck. Sign-ups are at the AcidMods site, which you guys may remember for some of their mods, which range from the highly practical to the highly improbable.

Sweet

That looks awesome... Hopefully they allow consumers to order custom plates after this contest. As cool as it would be, I don't think that a Skandranon/Silver Gryphon faceplate would be profitable.

Nice!

I ordered the gold dragon one las week and I'm still waiting for it to ship. I can't wait. I took a gamble and ordered it before any reviews were out, and guess what? Jackpot, people say these things are better quality than OEM faceplates and only for 25$. Plus, the designs rock.
