A Simple Memory stick PRO Duo Mod |
Ó
- Cut off about 5 inches of scotch tape.
- Tape one end, about half an inch, of the scotch tape on to the end of the Memory Stick PRO Duo.
- Place the paperclip end to end with the Memory Stick PRO Duo on the tape.
- Bring the remaining tape around the clip and tape it on the other side of the memory stick PRO Duo.
- Take about 1 inch of tape and secure around the memory stick PRO Duo and the paperclip.
- Use the paperclip and push the memory stick in, make sure it is align with the slot.
- It might get stuck if you don't tape it right.
- It might crack and break your memory card, a slim chance but there is the risk.
- It will not work with cameras or any other device that requires a Memory Stick PRO.

I might going to make a Memory Stick Pro Duo Keychain just like the USB Keychain! No need to put Duo Adapter. Most Camera have slot pusher then Memory Reader without pusher. I'm gonna test my camera to see if it work.

heyy some people didnt know they can do this... so they find this a great thing to use when they dont have their psp with them... the battery is dead or just plain not having a usb cable for the psp soo i find this a good post.. good job Henry Eng

Anyways this is offtopic but why doesn't someone work on a hack for the psp to accept a 120gb flash card , in lik sang they sell an adapter that accepts flash cards for your psp so why not hack the psp so it can accept a 120gb flash card ( which you can buy on ebay for less than 50 dollars ) , it would be iso paradise!
OMG after i read this my eyes began to bleed because this hack its too amazing, then i tried it and guess what???? My pc exploded!!!, then i put the memory stock back on the psp and my psp said it couldnt read that alien tecnology from 999999999 lightyears in the future

All you have to do is double the paperclip in flat with the MS Pro Duo then taped from end to end. Next you have to taped around the paperclip by side to side, so that will stay the MS Pro Duo stronger!

this is agreat way to see how far you can stick your memstick up your ass (use a ruler instead of a paperclip, that way u can measure easier)

this should not even make frontpage. i have a laptop with a 4 in 1 memory card reader also. and i have NO trouble fitting my pro duo into the slot where it's suppose to be. and there's still a little bit of the stick sticking out just enuff for me to pull it back out. and yes this is with BOTH of my laptop. presario v2000 and prostar 8794. this crap shouldn't even make front page.. =/

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA GOOD ONE!!! but although this may be a bad post it could be useful for the future. like what happens when all you have is paperclip, tape, a psp, computer with a card reader but no cable or adapter??? but if you really want to save money you can buy usb cables for a psp at the nearest dollar store.
Ive done this before except I taped a MS PRO to it and just used that instead of a paperclip, its really useful, especially if you are caught without a USB cable.
Wouldn't this work if you took something like like a calling card and then cut it to size? Just a thought, I mean it seems like the paperclip is used like a handle to make it more rigid. I may have to use this on my Sony Mavica ( Hope it works , cuz floppies only hold so much:P..lol )

I get XM radio on my bracers also lol. This hack seems so complex not even know how it works , I never thought someone could have an idea like this in 3000 years! A "mod"? - Taping a paperclip to your memstick is hardly what I'd consider a mod. This is something that should be commen sense to anyone. "Extending" the body of the stick so it'll reach into the slot is so simply it defies mentioning.
This is like a walkthrough of how to turn your PSP on - isn't it obvious?
Adding the LED's to your R1 and L1,... now THAT's a mod, and probably one of the coolest things you can do to your PSP. If you havn't done it already, what are you waiting for?

I tried this mod and it bricked my friends 2.6 PSP. Looks like you need 1.5 otherwise don't perform this mod!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED,
