For those of you who remember the original game Thief from back in 1998 and the sequels that followed I’m sure you’ve been eagerly waiting for the next release.  Well wait no longer because Eidos and Square Enix have spilled the beans on some details of the upcoming revival Thief.

After years of development at Eidos Montreal, Thief has been announced for a 2014 release on both PC and next gen consoles. As tensions build players will once again take control of Garrett as you return to the shadows in the industrial back drop known as the City where famine and sickness are known all too well. Only one person can uncover the truth about the tyrant known as the Baron and save the City before it tears itself apart.

I know Thief came first, but jesus does this ever look and feel like Dishonored. Some of the concept art is almost indistinguishab le.

Dishonored has a more Bioshock look, in my opinion.

Dishonored's gameplay(aside from magic and a lack of non-lethal weapons) though is almost the same as Thief's gameplay.
