Despite the 90's version being defined by it's isometric style, it's techno music and it's focus on strategy, this new First-Person Shooter from StarBreeze Studios (The Darkness) and EA Games, the game has a very clear shade of blue and grim with a few bits and pieces here and there to make it quite impressive gameplay-wise.
I will say, I'm a big fan of Dubstep and some tosspots on the YouTube page that iSyndicate was knocking off some Call of Duty tropes to get a whole new crowd, I think they're trying to go for the Deux Ex crowd really. All the signs seem to be there, with the bloom'd colour effects, mind-focused gameplay and a generic looking title card which I really hope they fix in marketing or just some time soon.
I'm a little bit excited but Deus Ex, Dead Island and Driver San Fran are all on my to-complete list before the year is through...which may be difficult with all the Saints Row 3 and Battlefield 3 insanity coming in the next 2 months...I welcome it greatly.

Seeing as I loved the 3rd Deus Ex that just came out, I might like this.
After all it's not CoD.
Still though, it would be nice to see new elements or hybrids in the FPS genre, kind of like how Valyria Chronicles is a SRPG-3rd Person Action hybrid.
But alas, companies no longer can think of anything but quick cash...

There hasn't been rock music in the charts in ages...well nothing I'd consider rock. White guy with guitar =/= Rock. Just unimaginative four chord mediocrity.

Were you referring to rock?
If so you haven't really listened to it imo.
Also, dubstep is just fart noises being mixed around most of the time.

Generic indeed.
Hopefully its just that awful trailer thats somehow making those FMV's and that gameplay look like shit too.
If we're lucky this is just another case of terribly misguided advertising.
(fingers crossed)
