VGA: Naughty Dog releases Last of Us trailer |
Listed in: Videos Tags: last of us, Naughty Dog, uncharted
It's late in the US and it's the afternoon here and I've been out doing Christmas shopping. Waiting in line at the last store I borrow my GF's iPhone to check out what news has come out of the VGA and Naughty Dog starts trending on Twitter...This is probably the best trailer let alone in-game stuff, that I've seen in a long time.
Starting off in Dead Island/Dawn of the Dead disturbed room the trailer flows perfectly into a young girl fending for her life. You should really just watch the trailer as the insanity that follows is just a see-for-yourself kind of deal.
The game looks like it might be The Road but with a daughter-Dad team and with mutants. It will hopefully focus on a real survival factor. It looks so fantastic and Naughty Dog has never ever steered wrong in terms of game design. This is already on my must-buy list for 2012 and I'm so glad it's a PS3 exclusive. Sony needs a game like this on the console. It looks great too. Clearly specifically designed and we'll keep you posted as more deets unfold.
Update: It seems Naughty Dog are slowly letting the cat out of the bag. The main guy is "Joel, and the girl, Ellie, who "must work together if they hope to survive their journey across the US." Please, open world, please open world.
