Kevin Butler returns for new set of Playstation videoes

Despite the fact Sony could be on the biggest boom of their life after the worst summer in the world, without getting sunburnt and turned down before a big beach date, and now Kevin Butler, one of the funniest people in mainstream gaming was thought to be disappearing from their ads...but the king returns

For anyone who's never seen one of his ads, here you go, just for your face.

The Butler ads are a throwback to the campy days of gaming companies making outrageous claims with outrageous characters, much like Segata Sanshiro (see below) or “Blast-processing” from the 90's, the Playstation ads had a bit of merit to them but remember Sony has never had a great track record of making “good ads” with some of them ranging from weird and nutty (no pun intended again) to just plain stupid or directionless.

The only thing on par with this kind of video game related madness would be Serious Sam's recent string of ads that had me cracking up...but here's a bonus video from way back.
