But, on the bright side, PS3 is looking like it's having a great launch.

well, I didn't say it doesn't look alike, but looking at it's ability to render everything onscreen with all the armies and robots in MGS 4 has given me some confidence that PS3 will have enough power to make motorstorm possible.



But why would AI matter? what makes motor storm look great is the power of RSX chip, and AI is controlled by Cell CPU. they calculate different things and AI wouldn't matter in judging the grahpical possibility of PS3.

If AI for driving games can be done on PS1 and PS2, then AI for driving games can be done for PS3, without any slowdown. How hard is that to understand? It's not like they're making really complex and human like AI. The AI is still the same as every other driving game before. What is new is the graphics and the physics.

AI for MGS4 hopefully will be more complex then a driving game. You also have physics, objects, other models. Many things that affect the frame rate.



The AI won't effect motor storm, becauses it's not real time.



Seriously...how can you think motorstorm is real...look at it. IT looks nothing like the great vid of MGS4...nothing. So using that as a proof...seeing as kojima has nothing to do with this game...is just...fanboyism.
