957_1762When speaking about why he decided to head MGS4 Hideo Kojima reviled that he had received a number of death threats after announcing that he would be less involved in the project.

"The staff heard about this and got very nervous," said Kojima. "We talk today as if it was a joke, but at the time, it was not a joke at all. It was serious."

We should thank the fans for threating him. Because if they didn't do it, then we wouldn't have such a great game coming to the PS3.

some people would do anything just for their own personal satisfaction..and this is taking it too far.

If I were Kojima, I wouldn't have changed anything. If they wanted it to be directed by him so damn badly they wouldn't put a hit on him ffs, in case he was making more games in the future which he obviously will.

He is a game director and he shouldnt be treated in that way. How come they are not sending this type of letters to the FFVII staff in order to re-make FFVII for the PS3??

I seriously doubt that such death threats were the deciding factor. Sure, he might of been scared by them, but i doubt thats the reason why he chose the path he has taken.
