The short trailer can be viewed on Extremes’ teaser site, located at darksector.com. The trailer is supposedly in-game footage of a futuristic ninja wearing suit-like armor stalking a group of armored soldiers in a futuristic setting. There is great detail in the trailer, and some beautiful lighting effects. Many new games are using advanced effects and layers to show extreme detail and amazing visuals that use fewer polygons.
These last few months, publishers and developers have been informed on the basic technological specs of the PS3, and “Dark Sector” may be a project that is being created for future portability. However, PlayStation 3 development is still way too early for any preview of a game, but Extremes’ project is the closest thing to what developers expect and hopefully what we should expect.
