PES 12 shows off new screens

The competition between Konami's PES and EAsport's FIFA franchise has cooled in recent years, with FIFA 11 breaking sales records last year. PES has always prided itself on realistic simulation of the game however, if these new screens are anything to go by the rivallry could be well and truly on again later this year.

Some of the features include reworked team AI and player jostling. The development team, working out of Tokyo, is working hard to provide a more dynamic and fluid experience. Konami hopes PES 12 will give players unprecedented control over the team, with improved dribbling and teamates makining dummy runs and movinginto space.

PES boasts a good relationship with its fanbase, adopting changes and features as suggested by gamers. Add to this improved graphics and player animitions and PES is shaping up to again provide a challenge to the football gaming crown.

PES 12 will be released later this year on the Wii, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. If you are still trying to decide between PES and FIFA see what the experts had to say about the rivalry between the two franchises.

It looks great and all but, screens don't show the football engine they're using.

It's probably the same from PES 11. :sad: They did say they'd upgrade so lets see. :-)

I hope on wii they have better cleats (newer ons) and u can download newer ones when they come out because in pes 11 they have the old superfly's the green ones and i was stuck with those but i wanted my player to have the new purple and lightening green ones. i want them to add more moves. also it says you can get updates with pay and play but i cant find where. :sad:
