4th Killzone rumored in development |

The next Killzone installment is underway at Guerilla according to a recent magazine interview. Edge magazine is reporting that Killzone 3 executive producer Steven Ter Heide (say that name three times fast) will be heading up this title, which they are not yet calling Killzone 4. Well I’m calling it that, considering it is the fourth game in the franchise, not including the Vita game in development.
VG247 has continued the speculation in an interesting direction: According to another Edge online article this week an in-house Sony developer has stopped working on PS3 projects to focus on a PS4 project. It would make sense that of all the IPs out there that Killzone would be a PS4 launch title. Killzone 3 this year was designed to show off the 3D power of the Sony side of gaming, so it’s not a stretch of the imagination to see the Guerilla team heading up the launch title list for the PS4. Heck, they even rhyme -- Killzone 4 and PS4, sitting in a tree.
