South Park creators & Obsidian to make new South Park RPG Game |

THQ will be distributing the new South park RPG, with Obsidian entertainment looking after the game development.
It has been awhile since we have seen a full blow South Park title, with the last ones I can remember actually even enjoying being the N64 version of South Park.
This now makes two South Park game titles in development.
The First is an Xbox Live only digital game title 'South Park: Tenorman's Revenge. It is a platform style game developed by Other Ocean Interactive and should be out in 2012.
In South Park: The Game you will play as the new 'kid' in South Park, with gameplay focusing on you earning the respect of the others guys and girls in South Park by completing quests, raising reputation levels, defending the town from 'threats' and other South Park-esque shenanigans!
The description probably does not do the game justice at this early point in time, but that's unfortunately all the detail we have.
As noted, the game is developed by Obsidian Entertainment who you may know from other RPG's such as Knights of the Old Republic II, Fallout: New Vegas and Neverwinter Nights 2.
If Trey and Matt were to trust anyone with finally helping them make a South Park RPG game worthy of playing, Obsidian are probably it.
South Park: The Game is due out some time in 2012 for PS3 and Xbox 360 only.
