Catwoman to feature in Batman: Arkham City |

A dark figure bounds from roof top to roof top, silent and stealthy. But this isn't the caped crusader we're controlling. Rather, it's someone more feline, and more interested in chaos and destruction.
Featuring the enigmatic Catwoman as a playable character is a departure from Asylum, and Rocksteady's Dax Ginn is banking on players wanting to do something a little different.
"She’s using the chaos to achieve her own ends. She is establishing what she can steal and how quickly she can get to it.” Dax says. While Catwoman might get about different to the dark knight, using her whip and claws to scramble across buildings and appearing much more acrobatic in combat, the contol system for Selina Kyle's alter ego is pretty similar to the Bat.
What is unique is her theif vision mode, which allows her to pickpocket from guards, crawl across certain ceilings, and do special take downs on unwitting foes.
While Catwoman does feature in Arkham City, she won't be the star attraction, with Ginn confirming Batman is still the central character of the title.
Batman: Arkham City is set for release October 18 2011 on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. You can check out the official announcement of Batman Arkham City here.
