House of the Dead 3 and 4 coming to PSN

Arcade's were the bomb back in the 90's. I remember going to them a lot as a kid and as the arcade parlours started to dry up in the early 00's I always remember there being a House of the Dead game. Whether it was an old one or a new one, they were always stationed up the back, huddled in darkness behind a black curtain and a big "teens only" classification sticker on the side. Friends and I couldn't give a stuff and we played it till our heart's content. We were underage and badassed.

Now, you too can live the over-exaggerated zombie killing high life with two full HD remakes of House of the Dead 3 and 4 coming to PSN this season. Sega has confirmed that the HD remakes of the original light gun classics will be coming to the download service. The games will come with trophy support and PS Move Functionality.

While there's no release date for HotD4 yet, number 3 will be out on February 7th. If you already have a Wii, you can play the second and third iterations in the series already and blast some zombies to kingdom come.
