PoV: Stock Jump and what will GTAV have?

So we're all waiting with baited breath but what do you think GTAV will have?

When QJ.net broke the story at 11pm (Australian Time), I was bleary eyed and just could not believe what I was seeing. I was checking the Rockstar website to see if that sale was still going on because I wanted to grab San Andreas for cheap on Steam but my Steam wasn't working and I didn't even think to look at the Steam store online. Apparently that black page with a simple logo and date caused a 6% jump in Take 2 stock and because that's not really an interesting news story unless anyone on here is a financial analyst, I thought we'd ask and speculate till our heart's content.

Okay one of the best rumours I heard was Kotaku talking about a huge Californian set game, much like San Andreas and seeing the font on the money I could not agree. An even better bit of speculation came from the comments of the original post saying it'll probably be in Vegas:

Or more importantly Las Venturas, the entire set of Las Venturas. The desert! The Sights! The Sounds! The Sins! The Rat Pack Vibe! The Heists! The Drugs! It'd be perfect.

It all works perfectly and it sets Grand Theft Auto more than ever before. Doing just LA would be a mildly updated version of LA Noire and that'd make Rockstar look lazy more than anything else.

Either way, the first trailer drops in 6 days and I could not be more excited.

He better be talking about the company and how he can't literally get into there, whether he wants to be an editor for them or get an interview for QJ.

If he is talking about their games, then old people are old, bet he has no problems getting into mario. Rockstar games are the only ones I look forward to, in my day of age except Max Payne. Even their one time IP's were a hit like Warriors and Bully.

eh, Vice City was my favorite. I wish they would've just taken that. This game'll be AMAZING though if they tone down the seriousness and put the game back to the core: having fun in humorous things. Actually, one thing that I REALLY liked in VC that never came back was the no money cheat and the ability to purchase additional buildings and safehouses with benefits. It gave the game replayability, made it actually worth trying to get money, and it was just plain fun!

i don't think i ever had a money problem in any of the GTA games. If you played properly, i.e. going after all the packages, jumps, rampages, etc first before the missions, you would usually end up with an extra-large cache of weapons and cash before you even started a mission.

Haha, 'properly'?
I don't think I've ever purposely gone for ALL of those (Packages, stun jumps, etc.) before finishing the story missions

Well GTA IV was by far the worst of the bunch because it just seemed more like a technical exercise to show what their shiny new game engine was capable of, and they just seemed to have forgot to make the game entertaining.
