Utah resident Alyse Braddley decided that her husband, ex US Army soldier Kyle Braddley, was spending too much time playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, so she put him up for sale on Craigslist as a bit of a joke, and it has now gone viral.

The listing was pretty hilarious:

craigslist2"I am selling my 22 year old husband. He enjoys eating and playing video games all day. Easy to maintain, just feed and water every 3-5 hours. You must have Internet and space for gaming. Got tired of waiting so free to good home. If acceptable replacement is offered will trade."

To be fair to Kyle, he claims to have been using some of his playtime on MW3 to stay connected with his army friends who are still serving overseas in Afghanistan.

According to the report on Digital Trends, the Craiglist ad received many offers for trade, including replacing Kyle with a bag of skittles, or trading him for a guy the prefers reading.

This is not the only person to be slightly obsessed with the new Call of Duty title from Activision, with another player in Colorado threatening to shoot people at Best Buy after they ran out of preorder copies.

You may also remember our story on the robbery of truck full of MW3 in Europe around the launch of the game also.

The man in CO threatened to BLOW UP a Best Buy. Nothing about shooting threats. Use Google for crying out loud! For a news site you are really losing your edge.

That shooting/blowing up thing is surely the main point of this article.

Besides they have the facts right in the article of the incident:

Thank you for making light of that comment. I appreciate it when people don't take other people's absurdly serious comments seriously. It makes the internet a safer, smarter place for everyone. :-)

you know the stuff dependent on FACTS thats what separates news from TABLOIDS.... just what we need is quotable false information that makes gamers look more like lunatics than the current media norm... "shoot, blow up.. same thing" yessir, that is correct when it comes to terms of a threat from a hothead. You never flew off the handle? oh wait... you just did at me pointing out misinformation and telling "reporters" to get it right you can try to yell at me all you want but willingly blowing someone for writing a shitty article needs a boot in the ass.

not everyone is a gullible dumbass.... http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-57321874-504083/man-blows-up-over-modern-warfare-video-game-makes-threats-at-colo-best-buy/

trust CBS before folks that copy and paste 70% their info.

I was pointing 0ut a FACT that shouldn't be there in the first place... last thing we need is some dumbass attorney quoting that and trying to link gamers to mass killing... you know that one guy who deserves not to be named and was dis barred a while ago?
