Listed in: News Tags: 2K Games, Firaxis Games, xcom: enemy unknown

XCOM: Enemy Unknown Will be out in about a week and a half and as we edge closer to the release date we keep getting more and more videos and stuff. Today we have an interactive gameplay video and an interview with Lead Designer Jake Solomon.
In the interactive video you get to actually make decision about your squad's composition and how you want them to proceed in attacking some aliens. You can have them go balls out or go all sneaky-like, for example. Of course, as Solomon says in his interview when you lose an agent in XCOM: Enemy Unknown he or she is permadead - and from this gameplay it looks like you'll be dealing with that quite a bit.
Speaking of the interview, the interview with Lead Designer Jake Solomon follows and he goes into the multiplayer a bit and how he feels that many video gamers are hungry for new experiences. Let's certainly hope so.
Check out the videos below and look for XCOM: Enemy Unknown on October 9th.
