The Attitude Era of the mid-90s is remembered by many as the last great era of pro wrestling. It was the era of the Monday Night Wars, when the WWE (then the WWF) and WCW were going at it every Monday night. They were both constantly trying to one-up each other and you literally could not predict what was going to happen week-to-week. It was an era of high drama on the screen and behind it, and pretty damn funny at time to boot. They even hired comedy writers back then to help with that angle.

Nowadays pro wrestling is a lot more formulaic and boring by comparison, but if you want to relive the Attitude Era WWE 13 will let you do just that. Back is DX, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Nation of Domination, Mick Foley's multiple characters, and everything else that made the mid-90s great for wrestling fans.

THQ has also released the full roster for the game in the form of a 5-minute trailer. It features everyone from Triple H and John Cena to fake dead guys like the Undertaker and real dead guys like Road Animal Hawk and Eddie Guerrero (RIP).

Check out the trailers below and let us know if you're interested in checking out WWE 13 when it comes out October 30th.

I think it's amazing that the graphics for these games haven't changed since 2002-03.

The graphics did actually change, they even changed the engine. Not very noticable though hah :D

Also notice how they listed Lita twice?

I should rephrase, it is still just as un-photorealistic as the old Smackdown series.

Other sports entertainment games seem to be developing new ways to trick me that I'm watching a game instead of playing it.
