Watch: Resistance3 'Radio' TV spot

Insomniac Games is no doubt in its final stages of promotion for Resistance 3, seeing that its release is quite literally just around the corner. But did they trip a corner with this ad?

This is their latest TV spot called "Radio". It's action packed enough, yes. To fans awaiting the game's release, it's might sweet. There's nothing wrong with the video per se. Still, there is something off about it. Most likely, it's because they decided to come out with it today. You know, the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

What's off is that in the ad, you can hear a dialogue saying something to the effect of destroying the tower. The reference is not direct, of course, but then, nor is it lost. Anyhow, the ad can still be taken separately from that, and it's still pretty exciting.

Insomniac has said previously that although this is supposedly the end of the series, Resistance 3 need not be the end of the story. As to what future plans they might have for it, we can only wait and see. We did hear, however, that if there will be a next installment, it just might go to another developer.
