Rumors have been swirling around a mystery project over at Disney by the codename Infinity. What, exactly, is the big D working on behind closed doors? As it turns out, we won’t have to wait long before learning the answer: Disney has prepped a major announcement related to the project on January 15. What what!

Here’s what we know: The project involves John Lasseter and John Pleasants. It is possibly a Pixar/Disney crossover. It may, or may not, involve a video game paired with toys, Skylanders-style. Hell, now that Disney owns Star Wars, it could be that as well.

We have no idea what Disney is up to, but all eyes are definitely pointed in the company’s direction. This will likely be a big announcement, regardless of what the project turns out to be.
