Fans totally missed out on Metal Gear Solid: Rising at the E3 event this year. Everything's being kept under a tight lid, and now we have Platinum Games denying they have any involvement with the game.

Company producer Atsushi Inaba addressed the issue earlier, saying, "I am aware of the rumors that says [Devil May Cry and Bayonetta Hideki] Kamiya is working on Rising. It's not true."

He stressed, too, for good measure that they are not working on the game at all. Just a couple of days back, Kojima has reassured that although MGS: Rising was a no-show at E3, there will be "big" news coming this Winter in relation to the game.

Everything's still shrouded in mystery as even Raiden's voice actor has revealed that he himself is unsure if he'll even be reprising his role in the franchise.
