Do you love overwrought drama, super-stylized anime-looking characters and dialogue so contrived it will literally explode your brain if you take more than two seconds to think about it? If you answered “yes” to all of those questions, you’re probably a Final Fantasy fan. Which means, of course, you probably want to watch this new trailer for Final Fantasy XIII: Lighting Returns:
I mean…yeah, that’s your basic Final Fantasy trailer. Lots of flash, borderline nonsensical editing and no clear indicator as to what exactly the game will be like. But that’s Square Enix, right? Oh, and in case you’re wondering as to why I’m posting a trailer we’ve already posted, it’s because this is the super awesome extended cut which assumedly has twenty more seconds of characters trying really hard to be taken seriously.
Maybe with this new launch we can finally retire the FFXIII name and get to work on some more pressing Final Fantasy titles. Like a complete 3D/HD remake of IV.
Just a thought.

Just upgrade it to "3D"(not stereoscopic, just upgrade from sprites to models) like they did III and get a fully faithful orchestrated soundtrack.
It kind of sucks that the only upgrade they did to VI was on the GBAdvance, I would love to be able to carry it on my tablet without having to resort to emulators with dodgy coding.
VII had its sequels, prequels, movies, and spinoffs. I am ready to move on.
