Much ado has been made over the fact that Assassin’s Creed III, due this fall, was built in a brand new, next-gen engine known as AnvilNext. We’ve caught a few glimpses of the engine in action, but nothing quite like the this latest trailer from Ubi.

Looking pretty damn good, right? Of course, the engine is just one tiny piece of the overall package, especially for a game like Assassin’s Creed. The success of the title still depends heavily on Ubis’ ability to tell a compelling story and provide non-repetitive challenges to players.
