Ratchet & Clank is one of those beloved Sony franchises that always manages to hit, no matter what else happens to be going on in the industry. Maybe it’s the silly but challenging mechanics, maybe it’s the overall tone of the games—people just like Ratchet & Clank. How could you not?

As usual, the game looks exceptionally fun and infused with a dark, slightly inappropriate sense of humor. Insomniac definitely knows how to play to its strengths.
Look for Full Frontal Assault to land on PS3 and Vita sometime this year. Probably close to the holidays, since no release date has yet been announced and it’s getting a little late for a fall launch.
