Most of the time when you’re trying to show off your new game, you want to snip a few clips of it into the game’s trailer. But Irrational, which has released more BioShock Infinite trailers than any reasonable studio would, is having to get creative in order to keep the steady drip of content interesting.

The result? This trailer focused entirely on the mystery of Columbia, the game’s floating city in the clouds:

Everything about the video is expertly executed, from the wonky 70s intro graphics to the overly serious narration. You don’t learn too much about anything in regard to the game and its gameplay, but there’s just the right amount of information tease to get your head into the game. It piqued my interest, to be sure.

It’s a cool strategy, and it’s nice to see a studio thinking outside of the box. Thoughts?
