Could you imagine Nathan Drake running around in Rapture? I wouldn't actually be surprised if he landed right there, given his knack for finding himself in the most unlikely places. 

Nope, this doesn't look like an underwater city.

Actually, this was the trivia that Naughty Dog boss, Evan Wells, shared recently. According to him, in the earlier days of development, the world of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune actually looked like BioShock. Shocking, isn't it?

"We went through a lot of iterations with different ideas," said Wells. "Our very first tech demo we built with our water technology was called the "moon pool". In one of the early concepts we had, the game was going to take place in some underwater facility. Actually, it had a resemblance to BioShock."

"It was funny because we read an interview with Ken Levine and he was saying that one of their initial concepts was this tropical island and I was like, "Wow, we're both crossing paths there with those ideas." We started off building this underwater facility. It was in our first green light video we put together when we were pitching the idea to Sony to show off our water tech and how we evolved into getting all the differenty types of water in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune."

That was pretty cool, huh? Their ideas crossing paths like that. We all know how both games turned out. And now, Uncharted has moved on to become one of the most successful franchises in the gaming industry, thanks to its solid storyline, fantastic graphics, and engaging gameplay. 

They've just released their multiplayer beta for Uncharted 3, which came in at a massive 1.7GB. An iteration for the PS Vita Uncharted: Golden Abyss was also recently announced.
