Uncharted 3 breaks Gold and explodes Starhawk keys |

In terms of game production, there are several stages of when a game is being worked on. There are platforms, checks and a lot of finalising before the game gets from the company to the distributor to your local game store or internet game shop to your hands...or console...we live in a fractured age of media.
So anyway, when a game goes gold, that's when the game is ready to be distributed and sent out to you. So good news on that front, whilst a billion other games are getting delayed, Uncharted 3 fans will have the game in their hands and ready to play when it drops on November 1st. Also good news, who here remembers Warhawk?
Wow, okay, only two of you. Well Starhawk, the sequel to the Multiplayer-only starhawk, will be coming out in 2012 and the beta for it will be packaged with Uncharted 3. The game has nothing to do with hawks, but it does take place in space...but I guess Spacehawk is a ridiculous title. It's a fairly big game for Sony to be trotting out with the most hyped PS3 exclusive release of the year.
Starhawk has been a few years in development and actually the first time I've heard of it. The previous game was a multiplayer only affair with a lot of people saying it was one of the most exciting and engaging experiences on the PS3, sadly I didn't have good enough internets (still don't, being Australian) and so avoided it like the plague. Starhawk will however be multiplayer and single player and the beta may take care of both.
Uncharted 3 drops November 1st and will be a hell of a game. Definitely on my most wanted list of the year...but first I really need to finish Uncharted 2 first.
