Square Enix has put out a weird image today ahead of the E3 trailer that will debut tomorrow for Hitman: Absolution. What it's supposed to mean is anyone's guess, but it shows eight women standing in silhouette brandishing a variety of weapons, including a rocket launcher.

What's this supposed to mean? The first thing that has sprung to mind for a lot of folks is the dreaded inclusion of some sort of multiplayer mode. Many players get their panties in a bunch when a franchise suddenly delves into multiplayer, but it's all the rage these days. On the other hand, it could be something more innocuous, such as some sort of cadre of female assassins that Agent 47 has to deal with in the new game.

The background simply says "TEASE" and that could have more than one meaning. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
