A few months ago, Disney blew everyone’s mind by buying everything that has anything to do with the Star Wars brand. And while this action has resulted in the greenlighting of some new Star Wars projects, it also seems to have stalled some that were already in the pipeline. Case in point: Star Wars 1313, which was shown at last year’s E3.

According to three separate sources, the Star Wars acquisition resulted in the freezing of all development on 1313, which in turn means the game may miss E3 this year and get delayed into 2014. LucasArts and Disney said exactly the opposite when the sale went through (indicating that all projects would continue moving), but aren’t talking now that rumors are starting to mount.

We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available. For the moment, it looks as though we may be on the verge of the first massive delay of 2013.
