Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is out today in North America and to kick it all off High Moon Studios has put out a launch trailer. It's mostly hype and doesn't reveal anything all that new - though I'm not sure if we've seen Shockwave before. Regardless, it looks altogether appropriately epic.
Taking what High Moon did with their first Transformers game (Transformers: War for Cybertron), look for a single-player experience that hits all the notes and character from the Transformers G1 cartoon and toys - such as the inclusion of the Dinobots and Insecticons this time 'round - and a multiplayer that is surprisingly good.
The Dinobots and Insecticons will not be available for play in multiplayer at launch, but will be released later as DLC. Some sites are saying they will merely be "vanity skins," but that is unlikely given all the trouble High Moon went through to explain to us the functionality of Grimlock, leader of the Dinobots. One would hope that Grimlock doesn't end up as a vanity skin.
Anyhoo, check out the launch trailer below and take a chance on this one today if you live in North America. If you're in Europe you'll have to wait until the 24th.
