This new Tomb Raider game is really ranging far away from the old games. And as we see more and more footage of the actual gameplay, we can tell that this "Smart and Resourceful Lara" is a very different animal indeed.

There's a new series of trailers out for the game simply entitled "Survival Guide." This first episode is called "Smart and Resourceful Lara" and goes over all the Lara-centric stuff in the game, such as her bow (her signature weapon) and her climbing axe and all the cool stuff she can do with it.

It also talks about some new features for the character, such as a form of vision called "Survival Instinct" that helps you solve puzzles and the base camp where you can do upgrades - spending skill points and the like.

The fans have been calling this game "Uncharted: Lara Croft Edition" and indeed it's looking that way a bit. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing remains to be seen.

We'll find out when the game comes out March 5th!
