If you start talking about Timesplitters 4 on just about any video game site you'll quickly find out that people would love to see it happen. Hell, if you stand in a room full of gamers and bring up the subject you'll probably get the same response. Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli has been teasing said game for quite some time, but based on his "test" using his blog, and Twitter of course, he says there just isn't enough demand for it.

"I tested through my official blog to see how big the Timesplitters community is, and while the volume of responses was quite high, we feel it's not high enough yet," said Yerli. "That being said, it did indeed trigger a deeper evaluation of what we need to do with Timesplitters, and I can only say this for now; we might have some surprises coming soon."

So we're not getting Timesplitters 4, but he'll keep stringing us along. All right.
