THQ's E3 2011 lineup revealed

THQ has revealed its entire line of titles at display at next week's Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

"THQ continues to push the boundaries for innovation and entertainment through its diverse lineup of games targeting a broad audience," said CEO Brian Farrell. "With a dozen new titles on the show floor, our fiscal 2012 portfolio showcases our strategy in establishing and maintaining strong game franchises, developing new and innovative play patterns for kids and families, as well as our commitment to working with the best entertainment talent in the world."

It will include...

  • Margaritaville Online (Facebook, iOS devices - Fall 2011)
    • An everyday escape to a tropical paradise inspired by the lifestyle of author and singer-songwriter, Jimmy Buffett,  Margaritaville Online is an immersive 3D online social game, filled with frozen concoctions, music and adventure.
  • Metro: Last Light (PS3, Xbox 360, PC - 2012)
    • A gripping, story-driven first person shooter,  Metro: Last Light is the highly anticipated sequel to 2010's critically acclaimed cult classic  Metro 2033.
  • Mx vs ATV: Alive DLC (PS3, Xbox 360 - DLC Schedule on MXvsATV.com)
    • Capture the spectacle of motocross and the essence of competitive racing with the best riders, authentic licensed events and parts and gear from the latest manufacturers.  Mx vs ATV: Alive is now available and a dedicated online store consists of rider gear, tracks, modes, and branded vehicles, such as Suzuki, Yamaha, KTM, and Honda.
  • Saints Row: The Third (PS3, Xbox 360, PC - Holiday 2011)
    • The highly anticipated next installment in the open world  Saints Row® series, the over-the-top third-person action title gives players control of the Third Street Saints at the height of power. Take a tank skydiving or call in a satellite-targeted airstrike on gangs in the most outlandish gameplay scenarios ever seen.
  • uDraw GameTablet (PS3, Xbox 360 - Holiday 2011)

  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (PS3, Xbox 360, PC - September 6, 2011)

THQ is just one of the many big publishers who are going all out at this year's E3. Electronic Arts, Square Enix and Ubisoft have already revealed their showcased titles for the show.

i'm only looking foward to two games out of all the rest and thats Metro: Last Light and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine the rest i don't care about at all....

Saints Row The Third and Warhammer 40k Space Marine for me... Looking forward to those titles. Damn! Not much surprise on these e3 lineups huh?! So far from the news, it sounds boring.

I'm not familiar with the warhammer franchise, but I know that people like it. Hopefully that will be good.

Metro: Last Light has a cool name. Dont know much about that either but it sounds kind of cool.

The rest of that all looks like absolutely atrocious dog vomit IMO.

I don't seem to get excited these days with games, theres nothing really there to get excited from. WWE 12, Saints Row 3 and UFC Undisputed 3 will do fine for me though. This year might be a good year for decent games.
