The King of Fighters XIII delayed

Atlus announced today a new release date for The King of Fighters XIII. Originally slated to arrive this month, the game has been pushed back for month and now has been given a November 22nd release date. The reason for the delay?

"While fans will initially be disappointed by the news that The King of Fighters XIII Iis slightly delayed, the additional time will ensure that the game delivers on its promise of becoming the finest entry in the series' 15+ year history," commented Tim Pivnicny, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Atlus. "KOF fans have tremendous expectations for this title, as do we. Our commitment is to nothing less than the very best The King of Fighters game ever, and all of our efforts and resources are dedicated to assisting developer SNK Playmore to that end."

Here's hoping it will be worth all the wait. And by the way, if you pre-order the game now at participating retailers, you’ll get a four-disc soundtrack compilation along with the game.
