The Cave's Ron Gilbert Has Regrets |
Listed in: News Tags: double fine, humongous entertainment, Ron Gilbert, the cave

The Cave's Ron Gilbert has made news recently talking about point-and-click adventure games. Someone recently asked him what he'd change if he could be The Cave's Time Traveler and he revealed his biggest regret.
"If I were the Time Traveler in the game? Oh wow. If I were the Time Traveler...you know I probably never would have sold Humongous Entertainment," Gilbert said. "I think that was a great company and we had a lot of amazingly talented people working there. I probably wouldn't have sold that company."
Humongous was founded by Gilbert and ex-con Shelley Day back in '92 and was sold to GT Interactive in '96. It is currently owned by Atari.
Gilbert, meanwhile, is working on The Cave with Double Fine and it is expected to be out on the PSN and XBLA in January.
