Soundgarden returns to Rock Band next week

The Rock Band 3 music catalog will have more tracks from the seminal grunge masters starting next week.

Harmonix has revealed that next week's Rock Band 3 DLC update will feature another round of Soundgarden tracks, featuring a "celebratory 6-pack of hits from across the band’s legendary career." It will include “Outshined” and “Rusty Cage” from the band’s 1991 album Badmotorfinger, followed by “Fell on Black Days” and “The Day I Tried to Live” from the bands influential 1994 classic Superunknown and “Blow Up the Outside World” and “Burden in My Hand” from the band’s 1996 record Down on the Upside.

Available on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii starting July 19th, these tracks will include:

Soundgarden – “Blow Up the Outside World”
Soundgarden – “Burden in My Hand” X
Soundgarden – “Fell on Black Days”
Soundgarden – “Outshined” X
Soundgarden – “Rusty Cage”
Soundgarden – “The Day I Tried to Live” X

Pro Guitar Additions for Legacy Songs

Soundgarden – “Pretty Noose”

All original master recordings, each track will cost US$ 1.99 / 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points while the “Celebrating Soundgarden On Tour 2011” package will set you back US$ 9.99. Songs marked with an "X" will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for US$ 0.99 per song. In this week's update, Harmonix added some new tracks from P.O.D., Erasure and Seether from the ever evolving Rock Band library.
