Sony's E3 2011 press conference to be streamed live |

For this year's E3, Sony are doing something they've never done before -- the company will be streaming their E3 press conference live. Sony Computer Entertainment America's social media manager, Jeff Rubenstein, posted on the US PlayStation blog:
You’ve been requesting it, so for the first time, we’ll be broadcasting the entirety of the PlayStation press conference directly into this Blog. Additionally, we’re setting up a mini-studio in the PlayStation booth, and we’ll be bringing in developers while the show floor is open for interviews, live demos and to answer your questions via a built-in chat module. It all starts right here on June 6th.
In the post's comments section, Rubenstein responded to a commenter that they are working on bringing the live steam to PlayStation Home.
Sony initially gave PlayStation gamers a chance to be at E3 2011 first-hand, but the contest has since been closed since the number of entries were way more than the number of open slots.
Sony's E3 2011 press conference is scheduled for June 6th, Monday, at 5PM until 10PM Pacific time. That's a day before E3 2011 officially kicks off. Five hours is already a lot of time for a press conference, but it may not be all talking, apologies, and presentations as Sony is also holding a "special event immediately following the press conference."

Also, E3 hasn't been a public even for years. It's for press. You're lucky they're streaming it to you.
