After a month of waiting, Sony has announced that the its PlayStation Network, including the PlayStation Store and its services, will be fully back online by the end of this week... unless you reside in Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea.

“We have been conducting additional testing and further security verification of our commerce functions in order to bring the PlayStation Network completely back online so that our fans can again enjoy the first class entertainment experience they have come to love,” said SCE president and executive VP of Sony corp, Kaz Hirai in a statement. “We appreciate the patience and support shown during this time.”
Sony put offline the PlayStation Network and its Qriocity service on April 20, after they've discovered a massive security breach on their network that affected 77 million registered account holders. Earlier this month, Sony begun a "phased restoration" of the its PlayStation Network services, starting with North America and last week in most regions in Asia.
