Sony Celebrates its Proud PlayStation Past |

It seems as if Sony has been getting nostalgic these days, as the company has released short videos celebrating its past PlayStation consoles. Are they setting us up for the probable unveiling of the PS4 in a few days? It’s quite possible.
Sony released a quick 150 second video the other day that showcased the original PlayStation that started it all. Titled PlayStation Evolution: The Beginning, relives the console’s launch in the mid ‘90s along with a quick look at the DualShock controller and some of the games that helped make the gaming machine so popular.
The celebration of Sony’s history continued with another video titled PlayStation Evolution: The Next Big Thing. This video runs just over two minutes and takes look at the PS2 and its arrival onto the gaming scene in 2000. Will a PS3 video be released before Sony’s big event on February 20th? We’ll have to wait and see.
