SOCOM 4 beta hits PS+ today

As promised, Zipper Interactive's beta for SOCOM 4 is hitting the PlayStation Plus service for the PlayStation 3 today. This should get you in on the loop despite not being a part of the private beta that's been happening since March 15th.

PlayStation Plus members will soon be able to get their hands on the beta and take part in the preview of the much-awaited sequel of the SOCOM franchise.

The beta will be featuring the multiplayer mode of the game, and will be exclusive to PS+ subscribers. Not to worry, though, as you will have to pay nary a cent for it. Absolutely free!

Just note that in case you've got your PS3 on, and you don't see the SOCOM 4 beta, patience will take you a long way. See, your timezone affects your eligibility, but definitely, it will be landing today.
