Skyrim Getting 1.7 Patch "in the Coming Weeks" |

The PS3 has kind of gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to all things Skyrim. It's never received the 1.6 patch featuring Mounted Combat, et al. that the PC and Xbox 360 got way back when and there's still no sign of the Dawnguard DLC that Xbox 360 users already have either.
But soon that may change. Well, sorta.
Bethesda is saying that the 1.7 patch, which includes the 1.6 patch and then some, "should be arriving in the coming weeks," according to a tweet. The 30-day exclusivity thing that Dawnguard had with the Xbox 360 is up, but there's still no sign of it on the PS3. When people bugged Pete Hines about it on Twitter, he said, "We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news. If we have news, I promise I'd tell you."
So, Dawnguard's coming to the PS3 - we just have to wait. And then wait some more.
