Bethesda says that it's not Sony's fault that there's no DLC for Skyrim on the PS3; it's no one's fault but their own. Xbox 360 users have had Hearthfire and Dawnguard for a while now, but PS3 users are still just waiting.

Bethesda's Pete Hines sounded off on the matter on Twitter, saying, "We're still on it. Will share update when I have one. The performance isn't good enough in all cases. For most folks, it'd be fine. For some, it wouldn't be."

Responding to this, many fans said Hines shouldn't blame PS3 hardware for Bethesda's shortcomings, to which Hines replied, "We've never blamed anyone or anything. It's our problem, and it's on us to solve it."

So there you go. Bethesda says it's all up to them to fix it and it's not anyone's fault but their own. This probably won't make anyone feel any better about it, per se, but it's refreshing to hear nonetheless!

Now, back to waiting.

im really frustrated that the dlc is not out for ps3, and so i sent bethesda a long, frustrated, and detailed email about my thoughts. they responded the same day with a well thought out response and answered every single question i had. after getting such a prompt and thorough response, i know that they are trying and doing everything they can to get this dlc out for ps3 owners. bethesda is a dang good game company and they are working hard on this. just thought id share.

Yeah I was pretty pissed about this myself seeing as how I originally purchased skyrim for ps3. But after seeing skyrim in full 1080p on my PC, I sold my ps3 copy to my cuz, and just repurchased it for PC. Now I have access to the dlc and better graphics heheh

Who really cares, we have better stuff to play on PS3. They can keep the game and DLC for all I care.

Until I see DLC there will be no more Bethesda on my shelf. Recent PS3 upgrades have changed the system storage usage. This is noticable after installing or performing utility functions like copying.
