Silent Hill: Downpour delayed

A little bit of bad news for those who are eagerly awaiting Konami's latest survival horror offering.

Silent Hill: Downpour, the eighth installment of the Silent Hill series was originally slated to arrive this month for the PS3 and Xbox 360. But in a surprising news today, the publisher/developer revealed that the game will be delayed. The new release window of the game? It's gonna be March 2012. No explanation was given on the cause of the delay.

Downpour is being developed by Vatra Games. The game will revolve around Murphy Pendleton, a convict stranded in the town of Silent Hill after his prison transport vehicle crashes.

With too many games coming out the upcoming weeks, I have no problem with them delaying the game abit. Let's just hope it will be worth all the wait.
