Shank Devs tease Mark of the Ninja

Ó

After my recent try of Shank 2, I think I may have fallen hard for indie dev Klei Entertainment and their new game, Mark of the Ninja may lead me to marry them.

Still going for that pseudo-comic book style, Klei will probably out do themselves with this game focusing on more of a stealthy kill than Shank's hack and slash, beat'em up style. Mark of the Ninja looks really fun and with a few more weapons, maybe a bit of a storyline and a killer soundtrack, this could be the downloadable game of the year.

The gameplay footage above has some traps, some unsuspecting guards and a beautiful use of lighting in the game. I have to say I'm pretty psyched about this title. While there is no official release date, the game is supposedly due out in the Summer of 2012 for XBLA, hopefully with PSN and Steam to follow later this year.

Looks interesting, but I'll probably pass.
