Sega ready to put PSN downtime behind it |
Listed in: News Tags: news, plasytation network, Sega, Sony

The PlayStation Network breach affected a lot of people. Not just Sony and the gamers who used the company's services but game developers and publishers as well. Sega is among those. Now that the online service is up and running again, the house of Sonic is ready to put things behind it and look towards the future.
"Everyone who makes content for that service has been affected," Sega's executive vice president of marketing, Alan Pritchard, told GameSpot at E3. "Poor old Sony. It's been a horrible month for them, being beaten up by the press and what have you. As long as it's fixed and is future proofed in time for our big new releases, then it's no problem for us."
Pritchard wouldn't give out any specifics on how much money Sega lost during the PSN downtime, but he did note that digital distribution is very important to the company.
