Sega celebrates Sonic's birthday with a bang!

To commemorate Sonic's 20th Anniversary, Sega has announced today a sale on all Sonic the Hedgehog digital titles currently available on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace. It features a list of titles and add-ons available from 33–50% off - including Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 and Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.

The Sonic the Hedgehog birthday bundle now available on the PlayStation Store includes four complete Sonic adventures, a US$ 39.95 value, now up for grabs for only US$ 19.99. The bundle includes:

Sonic the Hedgehog (US$ 4.99)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (US$4.99)
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 (US$ 14.99)
Sonic Adventure (US$ 9.99)
Sonic Adventure DX Add-On (US$ 4.99)

On the Xbox Live Marketplace, sale-priced Sonic titles include:

The Sonic 20th birthday sale begun earlier this week, and will be available on PlayStation Network through July 12 and in the Xbox Live Marketplace through June 28. Aside from the anniversary sale, Sega is also prepping some Sonic merchandise to celebrate the event.

Everything after S&K was rubbish. Either Sega goes back to the exact formula that made S&K or they'll keep damaging the franchise IMO.

Sonic generations plays nothing like "classic Sonic". I have too many complaints but I'll try and list the main ones - The physics, acceleration and moves are all wrong. Theres too many cut-sequences on certain obstacles during gameplay. The camera is awful and you can't see where you're going. You can't even do moves from Sonic 2, such as jumping straight after a spin-dash.

Since they ditched the Megadrive, Sega has done everything wrong, and have become more about sales than making good games.
