Slated to arrive on July 26th in North America for only US$ 14.99 and July 27th in Europe for £12.99 after a three months delay, Section 8: Prejudice is "a full-featured, sci-fi-themed, first-person shooter that delivers a 5-hour, story-driven single-player campaign, robust online multiplayer for up to 32 players across a variety of maps, and a new 4-player co-op game mode, entitled Swarm."
To make up for the delay, TimeGate added some extra contents to the PS3 version, including two additional multiplayer game modes, Assault and Skirmish, as well as exclusive content for PlayStation Plus subscribers. But that's not all, some additional contents will also be up for grabs for the launch week of the title.
- For the first week, anyone who purchases Section 8: Prejudice on the PlayStation Network will receive the Blitz Armor Pack and Overdrive Map Pack for free! This includes two armor skins, early unlocks, and two additional multiplayer maps.
- The first 1000 PlayStation Plus subscribers to purchase Section 8: Prejudice will receive the exclusive in-game Hunter Armor as well as a free copy of the original Section 8.
Earlier this week, TimeGate also revealed the upcoming DLC contents for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the sci-fi shooter. This includes some new map packs as well as a new multiplayer game mode.
